When you contact, this is who answers.
I’m Preston, a student at The University of Alabama pursuing a B.F.A in Musical Theatre and a B.S in Computer Science, which means I’ve sat on both sides of this problem. I thought being in the middle of two completely opposing domains gives me a uniue perspective, and The Greenrooms is what came of that. Handmade sites, one at a time, for artists and businesses who’d rather not look use a template offered by WIX, Squarespace, or any other generic website builder.

Anything this list doesn't cover, ask directly, a real person from the studio reads and answers everything.
What does a build cost?
Founding rates: $300 for a one-pager, $600 for a portfolio, $1,200 for a store or complex build. Final pricing is set per project and 100% negotiable.
How long does a build take?
It depends on scope, so you get a real timeline before any money gets spent. Small builds take about a week, not a few months, and you watch progress the whole way.
Do I own my site?
Yes. If I handle your domain, I can transfer it to you, otherwise, the domain stays registered in your name. Your content, images, and files are yours. For Pro and Max plans, the site runs on our hosting so we can keep it fast and maintained, but nothing about it is locked away from you.
Do you use templates?
No. Every site is designed and built by hand, shaped to your work and your field. That's the whole point of the studio.
Can I edit the site myself?
On the free tier you send us edits and we make them for you. Instant self-editing and a media library come with our Max plan, which is priced at a level that reflects Database, Object Storage, Domain, and Hosting costs.
How many revision rounds do I get?
Two rounds come with every build, with comments pinned right on the page so you can point at exactly what you mean. More rounds available for $30 a piece, Max includes self-edit capabilities for media and text, with colors and fonts coming in the near future.
What does hosting cost?
at the bare minimum, ~$5 a month (pays for vercel and supabase costs utilizing our Pro plan).
